Wild Medicine

I’m really excited to be presenting this class next month. I hope to see some familiar faces there!

“Wild Medicine”
Are you interested in learning more about plants and weeds that grow wild in your area or even in your own back yard?

Let’s take a walk on the wild side!

During a gentle walk in a local park, Herbalist Cote Garceau will help you learn to identify and use many edible, nutritional and medicinal plants that grow wild all around us.

This class is for beginners. It will cover identification, medicinal uses, plant lore and recipes for teas and edible wild foods.

We will focus on approximately 5-10 plants depending on the questions, comments, ideas, etc…

Estimated time: 1 hour to 1 1/2.

Bring your camera and notebook to help with later identification.

Bring a snack to have an informal picnic at the end of the class and enjoy some Q and A. My dear friend Shelli Mullins will be answering questions about homesteading (backyard chickens, bees, gardening, etc.)

Nourishing infusions of Nettles and Oats will be served before and after the walk, and we will have a “taste” of a surprise wild food.

Cost : $20
